The only reason I got interested in this koreanovela is the catchy song I hear on TV everytime it is advertised. I didn't know what the story was about. But the song sounded romantic enough, so I assumed it was a love story and after that I bought the dvd since I've never been good at following telenovelas on TV. I'm always just too bitin when watching piece by piece.

And OMG. It was a surprisingly good show. If you've seen My Sassy Girl and IL Mare (the original version of The Lake House), you'll see some similarities - long shots showcasing the location, romantic music, and the pained look of Koreans losing the love of their lives. It was sentimental and at the same time, masochistic. =D Of course, typical of telenovelas, the episodes were a bit too long, which obviously shows how much they stretch the story.

This is a spoiler so do not read on if you're planning to see it: I only cried once watching it. And it was the scene where the guy who loved her (she loved and was pining for someone else), let her go so she could be with the one she loved. If you ask me, I wish she just ended up with him.(He's the guy in the picture.)

So there, 4 stars. Even Pogs got kilig in some episodes. Although I don't think he'll ever admit it.

when i heard about this, i bought the dvd too because i knew i couldn't watch it on tv...i actually bought it because of dan henney (that guy in the pic!)... :P

Tet, what was the song? The Philippines I think uses better songs LOL I still have to get a copy of this. That means a trip to a Chinese video store near me =) I love Daniel Henney hahah and like Clare I am planning to get a copy of his movie. He has improved a lot, acting wise.

Thanks Tet! I will look for it. Yup he has movies. I think he had two movies already "My Father" included. The other one was a comedy (Seducing Mr. Perfect) which my friend said will make you fall more in love with him hahaha but his acting was noticed in "My Father". It even earned him either a Los Angeles Times interview or a New York Times interview. He is also the signature model of Bean Pole along with Gwyneth. Check out videos from cooboj's site =)

Raissa, I read on Wikipedia that Wentworth Miller is actually the new face of Bean Pole, but I haven't done further research on that...maybe I should coz he's crazy hot too! hahaha!

yup he is! He was in Korea last year to do some photo shoots haha he is crazy hot nga!!

do you guys know he's actually been here to shoot a movie (or is it a tv show, can't remember)? i saw pics on his blog from ilocos...with the tricycles and at the wet market and all that. i'll try to look for the pics. he took down that blog na and his official site doesn't have a blog anymore. :P
